D. Collection of Information Concerning Earthquakes in the Region The Chief asks the Commissioner of the Meteorological Agency to collect the results of the surveys made by the administrative organs concerned, universities and others. In that case, the Meteorological Agency and the District Meteorological Stations shall use the name Local Earthquake Information Centers.
E. Promotion of the Survey and Research of Earthquakes The National Government would assist local governments with the survey and research of earthquakes.
